Postcards with chloride information will be mailed out to eligible residents on April 20th.
Payment must be made by May 10th, 2024.
The cost for chloride application is $100 for the first 300 feet and $60 for each additional 100 feet. Please make checks payable to "Salem Township".

***Please note, if paying with cash, please have the exact amount. We do not guarantee that we will be able to make change.
All chloride purchases need to be flagged. The chloride truck has accurate equipment for measuring. Please flag accurately. If you flag excess footage, the application will start at the first flag and shut off when the purchased amount has been reached.
Purple flags will be available near the steps of Salem Town Hall.
Flags should be in place by May 20th.
Road grading will be done on an "as needed" basis throughout the summer, regardless of whether chloride has been applied or not.
